 Enlisting immediately after his high
school graduation, Weinberg joined the
Navy after finding out the Marine recruiter
was full on the day he wished to volunteer.

A survivor of the sinking of his sub
chaser off Iwo Jima, Weinberg returned
to American and a long and successful
career as a real estate investor.
