After conducting or supervising an astounding 3100 interrogations in New Guinea and serving as an interpreter at the Tokyo war crimes trial, Colonel Yamamoto went on to a distinguished twenty year military career. Upon retiring from the Army he joined the Defense Intelligence Agency, where he worked for another twenty-five years. He is a vital part of a large and successful American family.
