Robey Janney
Military Policeman
Marine Corps / 1942-1946

Janney, a recent graduate of the University of Virginia, told the Marine Corps that he was "prelaw." The Marine Corps made him a policeman and sent him to Saipan where he participated in the first wave assaults. Surviving combat, including banzai charges, Janney returned to his native Virginia and began a lifetime practice of law.
